Kanata Studio Theatre Co., is our new community theatre group that is comprised of KAS students. Our first production in 2022, garnered KAS top honours including Best Production, Best Actor and the People's Choice Award. This fall Kanata Studio Theatre Co. will perform a new play at the 2023 festival.
Community theatre is a vital force that brings people together, sparks creativity, and fosters personal growth. It provides a platform for individuals to express themselves and explore their artistic talents. Through collaboration and shared experiences, community theatre builds social connections, promotes cultural appreciation, and empowers participants. Audiences benefit from its accessibility, engaging in live performances that stimulate imagination and create real-life connections. KAS celebrates community theatre as a vibrant and inclusive art form that enriches our communities and nurtures our collective creativity.
This year, KSTC will be performing at the EODL One-Act Play Festival on Nov. 4th.
