Registration fee for this course is divided into two payments. Half upon registration, and the remaining fee the week of the first class.



Designed for adults of all experience levels—from complete beginners to seasoned performers—this dynamic and supportive class offers all the essential elements of musical theatre. You’ll explore acting techniques, vocal performance, and choreography, all while building confidence and learning how to connect with both your character and the audience. Throughout the course, you’ll work collaboratively with fellow classmates on scenes, musical numbers, and ensemble pieces, guided by veteran director Shaun Toohey, who is passionate about helping you grow. Each session is designed to be fun, engaging, and challenging, fostering both individual progress and group cohesion.

The grand finale? A live performance of the mini musical at a local venue, where you'll showcase your hard work in front of an invited audience of friends, family, and theatre lovers. No previous experience required. Just bring your enthusiasm, your willingness to learn, and your love of musicals.

Over 8 sessions, participants will collaborate on the creation of a short mockumentary-style film inspired by the comedic, naturalistic style of The Office and Parks and Recreation. The project will be shot using handheld, documentary-style camerawork, incorporating improvised dialogue within structured, pre-rehearsed scenes.

Act, Create & Perform! (Ages 9–12)

In this fun and engaging class, young actors will dive into the exciting world of acting and improv while learning the importance of teamwork and creativity. Through a mix of theatre games, character-building exercises, and improvisation, students will gain confidence, enhance their communication skills, and explore their imaginations. But the real magic happens when the group comes together to create their very own script! Guided by the instructor, students will brainstorm, write, and rehearse an original short play—bringing their ideas to life from page to stage. The final class will feature a special performance for family and friends, showcasing everything they’ve learned and created together.

Perfect for beginners and budding performers alike, this class is all about collaboration, expression, and having fun!

This acting and improv class is a fantastic outlet for social and creative energy, all while feeling safe and encouraged in a small group setting. In this class, students develop acting, improv and comedy skills including ensemble-building, storytelling, voice, movement and character creation. Not only are students expanding their physical, vocal, and communication skills, but they are also learning transferable skills such as confidence, focus, listening, and trust building. This is a fun class for absolute beginners and those who have taken previous classes.
