Located at 738A Bank St., between First & Second Ave., in the heart of the Glebe, our downtown Studio offers a wide range of acting and musical theatre classes for all ages.

Welcome to our 6-week introduction to acting course! Whether you're a complete beginner or have some previous experience, this course is designed to give you a solid foundation in the craft of acting. Over the course of seven weeks, we'll explore a range of topics and techniques that will help you develop your skills as an actor. We'll cover the basics of character development, script analysis, and improvisation, as well as more advanced acting methods like the Meisner Technique.

Through fun games and creative exercises, students will learn the fundamentals of improvisation—listening, collaborating, and thinking on their feet. Each week, we’ll explore how to create characters, build stories, and say “yes, and…” to new ideas. Designed for kids who love to perform or just love to have fun, this class helps build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork—all while discovering the joy of comedy and spontaneous play.

In this fun and imaginative class, kids become the playwrights, directors, and actors of their very own short play! Together, students will brainstorm ideas, write their script, rehearse, and perform their original piece for family and friends.
